Most young boys (and some adventurous girls) play with Toy Soldiers; some never stop! I'm proud to say that I am one that never has stopped. Toy Soldiers, painting the figures, history and miniature wargaming is what this site is all about. May the God who gives encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

While I was finishing up some ECW cavalry, I started some practice figures for the next units I am going to paint for the ECW rules Victory Without Quarter. The figures are not finished yet, but they give you an idea of what is coming up. First up is a pikeman and drummer of Lord Brooke's Regiment:
Next are two officer figures; in fact, they are the same figure. One of the nice things about the hard plastic figures is the variety of "extras" that come with the set to allow you to customize your forces.
The figure on the left will be an officer with Newcastle's Whitecoats and the officer on the left will command Lord Brooke's Regiment.
Speaking of Newcastle's Whitecoats, here is the test musketeer I did:
I am hoping to have both foot regiments complete by the end of 2013.
