As mentioned earlier, over
the years I have been transitioning from 15mm to 28mm painting and
gaming. I keep telling myself that it has nothing to do with my eyesight
(hmmm . . . a close up and far seeing contact, bifocals and I paint
with reading glasses when I wear my contacts). Yeah, not my eyesight!
As a special bonus, this Army was featured in Daniel Mersey's book A Wargamer's Guide to The Desert War 1940 - 1943.
These
are the older models and not the plastic figures and kits. Here are the
units that are currently on eBay that end 7:00 pm Central Standard Time
on June 28 in the USA. Just click on the link that describes the photo.
Oh, this is a beautiful collection!
ReplyDeleteThank you. It was fun to research, collect, and paint.
DeleteWhat a stunning set if figures. Hope they find a good home.
ReplyDeleteThey have had many victory on the tabletop and I hope they will continue their winning ways with a loving gamer or collector.
DeleteA very fine collection. Anyone would be glad to have them!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I really took my time painting and modeling the bases for the army.
Deletelook great.
ReplyDeleteThanks. They were a labor of love and were a driving force as I recovered from an injury.
DeleteGreat figures, I get nostalgic at times looking at some of my old 15's, in pictures or fighting for someone else.
ReplyDeleteMy eyes haven't deteriorated at all either but I wish books and figures weren't getting so fuzzy as they age.......
That's the story I'm going to stick with now!
