Ladies of Adventure

Huzzah! Professor Nightingale is rescued (again) by our heroic ladies.

The latest adventurers for In Her Majesty's Name are these lovely figures from Copplestone Castings. They are part of the Female Archaeologists blister pack from their Back of Beyond range of figures.  There are two more figures from the pack that have not been painted yet but they will be joining the fun and adventure soon!

After looking at the pictures I took, I need to do a bit of touch-up on the faces and hair - I guess it is time to get new reading glasses!

  1. I painted both those gals about seven years ago to represent characters in a Call of Cthulhu RPG campaign I was running at the time, giving them to the players as gifts at the end of it. Beautiful work and thanks for sending me down memory lane!

    1. Bill - Thanks for your comments. They were fun figures to paint. The other 2 figures that came with the set I just finished and will be shown in an upcoming post.

  2. Very nice figures, Neil. Ladies in pith helmets are always lovely.

    1. Dean you are absolutely correct. Something about ladies and pith helmets stirs the blood in all of us.
