I am definitely pleased with the results and should have no problem, between my other projects, of finishing the other two stands of cavalry before the end of the year.
Most young boys (and some adventurous girls) play with Toy Soldiers; some never stop! I'm proud to say that I am one that never has stopped. Toy Soldiers, painting the figures, history and miniature wargaming is what this site is all about. May the God who gives encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Very nice!
ReplyDeleteGordon - Thanks!
DeleteThey look superb, excellent job!
ReplyDeletePhil - Thanks. I was excited that I was able to "reuse" the figures for my Arthur army.
DeleteLovely work! Those shields are very striking.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I was intimidated at first but I practiced drawing the basic patterns with pencil and found out that it was not too hard. Of course if you make a mistake just paint over!
DeleteJust wonderful. Love the hand painted shields!
ReplyDeleteI was thankful for the inspiration from Steve Jones' article on Dux Bellorum. In my opinion the eye is drawn toward the shields of the units giving it a nice effect. Thanks.
DeleteLooking great! Steve J.
