I am definitely pleased with the results and should have no problem, between my other projects, of finishing the other two stands of cavalry before the end of the year.

Part 2: Late Romans and Other leftovers joining Romano-Britain Shieldwall!
Ta Dah! My Romano-British Shieldwall is complete.
I'm a retired Colonel of Infantry (Regulars by God!) and Military Historian who likes to play with toy soldiers. I've been married to the love of my life since 1986, I have 5 honorable sons (my geeks in training), 4 daughters-in-law, a beautiful grandson, 1 dog and a gazillion miniatures.
Hobbies include . . . wait for it . . . Toy Soldiers, Reading, Wargaming, Reading about Toy Soldiers, History, Reading about Wargaming, Gardening, Reading about History and Reading.

ReplyDeleteThank you. I was intimidated at first but I practiced drawing the basic patterns with pencil and found out that it was not too hard. Of course if you make a mistake just paint over!

ReplyDeleteI was thankful for the inspiration from Steve Jones' article on Dux Bellorum. In my opinion the eye is drawn toward the shields of the units giving it a nice effect. Thanks.
