The men and women of the United States Secret Service.

Formed on July 5th, 1865, the United States Secret Service (also USSS or Secret Service) is a federal law enforcement agency charged with conducting criminal investigations and protecting the nation's leaders. The Secret Service is mandated by Congress with two distinct and critical national security missions: protecting the nation's leaders and safeguarding the financial and critical infrastructure of the United States. The Secret Service is the only U.S. domestic intelligence and counterintelligence agency and recruits the best of the best and is totally invested in using the latest technology to protect the interests and assets of the United States. The USSS works closely with the U.S. Marshal Service.

Special Agent James Dempsey

SA Dempsey is the most dangerous agent in the USSS and has a price on his head from numerous governments, clandestine organizations and just all around bad guy groups. Statistics for SA Dempsey can be found in Heroes, Villains and Fiends.

Special Agent Henrietta (Hetty) Makepeace

SA Makepeace is SA Dempsey's partner and has one of the most brilliant minds in the USSS. Statistics for SA Makepeace can be found in Heroes, Villains and Fiends.

Due to her intelligence and bravery, it is thought by many that SA Makepeace is the quintessential USSS agent. She also invented the light weight, portable arc generator.

Special Agent Thomas Sawyer

  

Tom Sawyer as a boy grew up in St. Petersburg, Missouri. The fictionalized adventures of his youth, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn have made him the most famous SA in the USSS. Tom's infatuation with his old classmate Becky Thatcher is apparent and this weakness has been used by his enemies more than one as he tries to impress her with his boldness and handsome looks. In 1894 SA Sawyer solved the kidnapping of German scientist Wilhelm Rontgen whom many believe is involved in the discovery and use of deadly rays. SA Sawyer is also close friends with US Deputy Marshal Huck Finn and the American adventurer Theodore Roosevelt.

Special Agent George Curtis, US Secret Service

 

 Typical of the breed of modern Special Agents for the United States, Special Agent George Curtis was responsible for the investigation that led to the capture of the evil mastermind Dr. Fu Manchu. Unfortunatetly Fu Manchu has escaped and he knows who was responsible for his inprisionment. Recently SA Curtis had been placed with Captain Kirk of the privateer Audacity at the bequest of the US Navy to ensure that Kirk continues to act in the best interests against the imperial enemies and master criminals that seek to do harm to the United States.  It is rumored that he has a romantic relationship with Fia O'Sullivan the helmsman of the out of commission ship Audacity.
