The clans are slowly gathering!

As I paint other figures I am slowly but surely painting additional Highland clansmen for my generic Scottish army.  Here is the latest stand and all figures are from Warlord Games.  The beautiful flag was downloaded from Project Auldearn 1645 which has been a great inspiration for my figures.  In fact an upcoming article in Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy will feature the blog.

One of the things I like about the Warlord Games range is the ability to purchase single figures.  The standard bearer is the "Irish Brigade Ensign" suitable for many units and the fearsome character carrying the huge claymore is the "Irish Hero."

In planning my clansmen I decided to have 6 stands; 4 down and 2 to go!
