How Could I forget it was Orktober?

I started playing Warhammer in the mid 1990’s before it got too weird and gothic. It’s nice to see that Games Workshop has re-released the “Old World”.

The Boss!

One of the cool things about an Orc (Ork) and Goblin army is all you have to do is point them in the right direction and yell charge.

Trolls! Always fun to paint.

Who doesn't like a chariot pulled by wild boars?

That's gonna hurt if it hits you.

Goblins on big, scary spiders.

Mercenary Ogres.

The Goblin boss riding a purple squig.

Ogres bringing up the rear.

  1. Very nice collection! Orcs and Goblins in Warhammer Fantasy was what brought me into miniature wargaming in 2001, though as a teenager with no money I never got much further than dreaming about building a big, grand army. A few years back I began building an army to satisfy my inner-14 year old and managed around 200 figures before stalling out this year due to lack of storage space for them all, and not having satisfactory options to play with them.

    1. There’s nothing like an ork army. I’m thinking of moving to Oathmark orcs.

  2. Some nice Orcs and allies, I played Warhammer 3rd edition if I remember correctly and haven't played it since! I love the older figures as opposed to what comes out of GW now, good to see your collection.

    1. I’m not a fan of the recent figures either.
