Sneak Peak of American and British Units for the Southern Campaign during the AWI

American Riflemen from Perry Miniatures

There is nothing like a pandemic to create new projects and catch-up on old ones. A long time ago, when I taught Military History, I use to do the Battle of The Cowpens for my classes in miniature. I no longer have those figures but now is a time to do American and British units for the Southern Campaign during the AWI using Rebels and Patriots. Of course, I need to finish the French first for the French and Indian War before I dive in with a passion on this project!

Officer of the 71st Highlander Regiment; figure by Perry Miniatures.

  1. Nice work on those,

I do like the Perry and old Foundry ranges for the AWI and like you have quite a lot in the lead pile!

    Cheers

I agree. The Perry/Perry Foundry AWI are the best on the market.

    1. Thanks Phil. The riflemen are almost finished (12 figure unit) but were recently put on the back burner for a commission I’m working on. I really like the way they are turning out and thanks again for the compliment.
